The latest S&P Case/ Shiller Home Price Index report wont surprise anyone

Home values are falling more steeply year over year despite seasonal bumps. Prices with the 10 and 20-city indices are down 3.6 and 4.5% respectively. 11 out of the top 20 cities areseeing deteriorating price drops. Just one city in the block and thats Washington D.C., the expectation from the founders of the survey is that prices will go lower.
