June 21st, 2011Crosland sells Cary shopping center to California firm
A Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm has bought the McCrimmon Corners shopping center in Cary.
Westwood Financial Corp. paid $15.25 million for the property on Davis Drive, according to Wake County property records.
It includes 86,270 square feet of space on about 30 acres.
The seller was Crosland, which developed the property and opened it in 2005.
McCrimmon’s anchor tenant is a Harris Teeter.
Westwood’s portfolio includes more than 100 shopping centers in 25 markets.
In December, Westwood paid $11.2 million for the Kroger-anchored Lynwood Collection shopping center at Creedmoor and Lynn roads in Raleigh.
